3. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

TPO Primer A140 is a solvent based primer designed for new TPO. It is a fast-drying primer that provides strong adhesion on new TPO surfaces. A140 also resists ponding water, providing additional protection on your roof.

5. INSTALLATION

  • All surfaces to be primed must be clean and dry. It may be necessary to power wash surfaces to enhance adhesion.

  • May be brushed, rolled, or spray applied. If spray applied, low-pressure airless spray equipment should be used.

  • Apply A140 at a rate of .33 gallons per 100 square feet. A140 should be applied in only one coat.

  • A140 should not be applied when it is raining or when the threat of rain is imminent. This product contains flammable solvents and is intended for use by professional contractors only.

  • Adhesion tests should always be performed to ensure suitability of use.

  • For best results, thoroughly blend contents of all containers using a power mixer for a minimum of 10 minutes prior to use.

6. STORAGE

A140 should be stored between 50° and 80° Fahrenheit. Shelf life is 12 months in sealed, properly stored containers.

7. PACKAGING SIZES

TPO Primer A140 is available in 5 gallon pails and 55 gallon drums.
