About the ENERGY STAR Roof Products Program
The EPA ENERGY STAR Roof Products Program is a voluntary program with roofing manufacturers to encourage the promotion of products that meet energy efficiency criteria. This initiative seeks to reduce greenhouse gases by implementing strategies that lower power demand and reduce the impact of Urban Heat Islands. The annual ENERGY STAR Award acknowledges superior technical accomplishment and public education to raise consumer awareness about products that offer substantial energy and cost savings while contributing to a cleaner environment. National Coatings Corporation is proud to be a Charter Partner of the ENERGY STAR Roof Products Program, and has twice been honored with the ENERGY STAR Award for notable contributions to energy efficiency.
