  1. BE PREPARED - Pay attention to your roof during the dry seasons.  During dry seasons, roofs dry up and crack creating future leaks - you won't notice this until it's too late and the rain starts pouring inside your building. Get those issues fixed before the rain so you don't have extra damage done to your building and valuable contents.

  2. PREVENT LEAKS BEFORE THEY START - Make sure you get your roof inspected annually. The cost of fixing a leak on your roof is much cheaper than fixing the damage caused by a leak. (National Coatings will inspect your roof for FREE when you call Today! 800.423.9557)

  3. CLEAN YOUR ROOF - Gutters and drains get clogged causing unnecessary leaks to your roof.

  4. DON'T BE PLACED ON HOLD - When rain has occurred and leaks are discovered, if you didn't maintain your roof, you will need to call someone to repair it. Unfortunately, you won't be the only one who is waiting for the repair company to fix your leak. Roofers are extremely busy trying to stop leaks before they damage larger portions of their clients buildings. Be prepared, get it fixed before the leaks occur.

  5. CALL A PROFESSIONAL - When seeking a roof inspector, call National Coatings (800.423.9557) for recommendations. In this economy everyone is looking to make money, make sure the person you hire to fix or prevent your leaks is a professional.

  6. TRIM YOUR TREES - Along with rain comes wind and stormy weather.  Make sure tree branches cannot fall onto your roof, damaging the surface.
