PRODUCT CLASS: Polyester (polyethylene terephthalate polymer) stitchbonded and knit fabrics

SECTION II - HAZARDOUS INGREDIENTS

There are no hazardous ingredients as defined in the *Code of Federal Regulations, Title 29, Part 1910.1200.

SECTION  III - PHYSICAL HAZARD DATA

Polyester fabrics will melt at approximately 500ºF and will burn if exposed to flame.  Decomposition products generated from molten polymer may be subject to auto ignition.  Combustion products will be comprised of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen,: and nitrogen.  The exact composition will depend on the conditions of combustion.

SECTION  V - EXPOSURE CONTROL METHODS

General ventilation is suggested.  Recirculating systems should, whenever practical, be operated in the bypass mode to avoid concentrating air contaminants in the workspace.

Fire fighters should protect themselves from decomposition and combustion products that may include carbon monoxide and other toxic gases.

SECTION  VI - SAFE HANDLING & USE INFORMATION

Customary personal hygiene measures such as washing hands after working with such fabrics is recommended.

PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN IN HANDLING & STORAGE:  Keep from open flame.
