Low Volatile Organic Content (VOC) Roof Products

The INTERNATIONAL GREEN CONSTRUCTION CODE (IGCC) has mandated a maximum volatile organic content (VOC) code for roof coating. IGCC mandatory standard of codes concentrate on green commercial construction, providing a foundation connecting sustainability with safety and performance. As of 2010, low-slope roof coatings cannot exceed VOC levels greater than 50 grams per liter.
